Inner Wheel members were were present in the blood donation camp and Mrs. Surbhi Khanna Inner wheel member also donated the blood. Camp organizers arranged fruits\, water and juices for the blood donors. Approximately more than 30 units of blood were collected in the camp.President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla encouraged the donors by telling that blood donation is not a small donation it is a very big donation. It could save someone’s precious life\, could light a family’s lamp\, and could give happiness to a family.Blood Bank incharge Dr. Kanchan Singh said that blood donation is known as a huge donation. Accidents are happened almost daily in our Country. DESCRIPTION:District: 308Name of the club: Inner Wheel Club of ShimlaDate: 15th August 2026Project Title: Eco friendly models on Independence Day by Vocational Centre studentsProject description:The Inner Wheel Club of Shimla celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm alongside the vocational center students from the stitching and beautician classes.The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag.Followed by vibrant cultural performances showcasing the spirit of patriotism.There was Eco-Friendly Patriotic Model Competition where 59 student’s competed with each other.Students from the stitching and beautician streams competed by crafting innovative and useful models using recyclable and waste materials\, demonstrating exceptional imagination and artistic skill. \n\n\n\nThe judges PIIWBD Mrs. Renu Baljee\, President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla and past President Mrs. Vijaylakshmi Sood faced a challenging task\, as the creativity and dedication put into every eco-friendly model made choosing the best one exceptionally difficult. \n\n\n\n\nKajal from stitching stood first. Chief guest for the project were Mr. Malkeet Singh (Advisor of district congress and director of trading board Himachal government) & Guest of honour were Councillors Kaithu Mrs. Kanta Suyal & councillor Annandale Mrs. Urmila Kashyap. President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla said that\, “The equipment donation aims to strengthen early heart condition detection and improve patient outcomes in the community.” The handover ceremony took place at the hospital premises\, attended by key representatives from Inner Wheel Club of Shimla sponsored by the members Ashmita Shukla and Taranjit Kaur Bhogal and senior medical staff from Primary Health Centre Annandale.Doctor Abhilasha said that\, “Heart-related illnesses and emergency chest pain cases require quick and accurate diagnosis.
