They also showed pictures and videos of the work being done in order to bring up children with special needs. They are mostly working with children who have autism\, mental retardation\, ADHD and other problems. It has been running successfully for the last 40 years. It has experienced staff who work under the most able guidance and support of Past IIWPBD Mrs. Renu Baljee ji. There are two more centres run by our club at Bal Ashram near Kamla Nehru Hospital and at Dhalli\, respective. There are mainly two Diploma courses available at the centres namely Sewing and Beautician.The student strength at all the centres together is around 100 in the sewing course and 80 in beautician course. The students attend classes for a period of 12 months and towards the end take exams in order to acquire the professional Diploma. \n\n\n\nOur vocational centres aim at stimulating employment opportunities among women of various socio-economic levels and different age groups. These centres give admissions to women and girl students from within the vicinity of Shimla as well as far off areas. Thus\, enabling both urban and rural women to strengthen their socio-economic status and climbing the ladder of gender equality. \n\n\n\nThe purpose of the project was to highlight and publicize the courses provided at our vocational centres and to provide information to the general public with the help of Print\, electronic and social media. This Project will help us to increase the admissions at these centres so that our club keeps working towards achieving it’s goal of promoting Women Empowerment and women Entrepreneurship.

Students presented a cultural program based on Patriotism. \n\n\n\nSpecial children from Aarushi School of Hope being run under Orchid Prep School also gave a brilliant performance at Raj Bhawan\, Shimla. \n\n\n\nOur executive member and energetic Principal of Shemrock Buttercups school\, Mrs. Umang Banga organised a program to celebrate 75th year of Independence at her school in which children were dressed up as Freedom Fighters and National Leaders.

While celebrating this auspicious festival our members sung a beautiful song and tied Rakhi on the wrists of 50 ITBP officers and jawans and gave a box of laddoos to each one of them. Twenty Trees of Deodar and Thuja were planted. We also made discussions about some projects which we will take up jointly in future.We also got the opportunity to attend an interactive and informative session with the Chief Guest of the evening Dr. Monika Bhutungru (Superintendent of Police) Shimla.

It is aimed at imparting 2 month training of health care assistant to women between 18-35 yrs preferably from Economically weaker sections at Yamunanagar starting from 15th July 2022.Our club has sponsored 20 yr old girl Tabashum from a BPL family.Our esteem member Vijaylakshmi ji is bearing the cost of fee of this course i.e. Rs.8500/-.Our executive member Mrs. Rajni Verma attended inaugural function at Yamunanagar.
