8th August 2026 at The rain shelter , the ridge, Shimla, The Inner Wheel Club of Shimla has conducted a blood donation camp association with doctors’ team from blood bank of Kamla Nehru Hospital Shimla, at ridge with an appeal that people should come forward for the service of humanity, which is very remarkable. Inner Wheel members were were present in the blood donation camp and Mrs. Surbhi Khanna Inner wheel member also donated the blood. Camp organizers arranged fruits, water and juices for the blood donors. Approximately more than 30 units of blood were collected in the camp.
President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla encouraged the donors by telling that blood donation is not a small donation it is a very big donation. It could save someone’s precious life, could light a family’s lamp, and could give happiness to a family.
Blood Bank incharge Dr. Kanchan Singh said that blood donation is known as a huge donation. Accidents are happened almost daily in our Country. Therefore inflated by donating blood in the hospital, which is provided to the patient at the time the blood is attained accident.
She appreciated the work Inner Wheel club of Shimla do for humanity.
The members present for the project were President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla, vice president Mrs. Sonia Arora, Immediate past president Mrs. Nirupma Chaudhary, executive members Mrs. Namita Nag, Mrs Raveena Jiandani and Inner Wheel members Mrs. Meenakshi Sood and Mrs. Surbhi Khanna.
