The circular motion of the wheel as symbol of International Inner Wheel depicts continuous ‘service’ and ever-expanding ‘friendship’. The Inner Wheel consists of two gear wheels, one inside the other, with six spokes radiating outward from the centre hub. The outside teeth represent clubs around the world.

Our members are the foundation and to make our garden strong we are responsible for the maintenance and growth of our garden. We water and we nourish to make the garden stay strong, expand and be able to serve with compassion. We are supporters of women’s future and well-being both in our organisation and women around us in need of support and help.
Our garden has many plants of different colours, needs and characters. It is a beautiful tapestry of plants, flowers and greenery. To make our garden grow, we have to take care of the existing plants. Who needs the sun, the pruning, the watering?
The Margarette Golding Rose is the seed that we grow from. Her ideas of friendship and service stem from the seed planted in 1924.
The Inner Wheel Forever Rose baptised in Copenhagen grows from the same warmth and compassion and continues the good work, service and international understanding.
Without our longstanding members there is no foundation, no soil to cultivate and put new plants into. Our valuable members must be tended and shown appreciation. Into this mixture, we invite new plants that we help settle in our park. This will bring energy, joy and happiness.
Dear Inner Wheel friends, together we thrive and expand. We weave a strong tapestry of women engaging and supporting each other. We use this strength to further our values, to help in catastrophes and to empower girls and women in need. Never hesitate to stretch out a helping hand, to comfort with words or actions, to strengthen and to make the impossible possible.
Wear your badge, hand out brochures, write articles, be proud to be a member. Continue the spirit of service and friendship. You are important. You are the flower that will grow and flourish in Inner Wheel. You are the “rose”.

areas reaching around the world. Each colour has been carefully selected for its symbolism.
Central to the logo are Inner Wheel members reaching out to inspire
others and serve the world with compassion and energy.
