In a major boost to local healthcare services, Inner Wheel Club of Shimla officially handed over an Electrocardiogram (ECG) machine to Primary Health Centre Annandale today. Chief guest for the project were Mr. Malkeet Singh (Advisor of district congress and director of trading board Himachal government) & Guest of honour were Councillors Kaithu Mrs. Kanta Suyal & councillor Annandale Mrs. Urmila Kashyap. President Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla said that, “The equipment donation aims to strengthen early heart condition detection and improve patient outcomes in the community.” The handover ceremony took place at the hospital premises, attended by key representatives from Inner Wheel Club of Shimla sponsored by the members Ashmita Shukla and Taranjit Kaur Bhogal and senior medical staff from Primary Health Centre Annandale.
Doctor Abhilasha said that, “Heart-related illnesses and emergency chest pain cases require quick and accurate diagnosis. With the addition of this new ECG machine, the centre will significantly reduce patient wait times and expand its daily diagnostic capacity.”
